[필리핀 유학/글로벌 패쓰웨이]미국 유타대학 입학에 대한 내용

  오랜만에 글을 적어 보네요. 최근 들어 패쓰웨이 문의가 조금씩 있네요. 패쓰웨이라는게

좋은점은 부족한 영어와 학력을 동시에 짧은 시간에 채울수 있다는거고요. 단점은 아무래도

비용이 일반 정규과정보다는 더 들어 가니까 비용적인 부분이 되겠죠. 그렇지만 영어공부와

정규과정을 동시에 하는걸 고려하면 비용은 절감 된다고 할 수 있습니다. 최근 유타 대학에

필리핀 고등학교 10년제를 마친 학생들의 패쓰웨이에 대한 입학담당자에게 질의를 한 부분에

대한 응답을 받았습니다. 기본적으로 필리핀 10년제 경우 미국 4년제 대학을 들어가기가 쉽지

않지만 아래와 같이 조건을 충족한다면 입학 허가를 해 주는 쪽으로 정리가 되었습니다.

Admission Requirements:

 

 

• 4.5 IELTS TOEFL 45 iBT / 133 CBT / 450 PBT

   

• Sufficient funding

   

• High School Graduates: 2.35 GPA on a 4.0 scale

   

• Transfer Students with 30+ post secondary credit hours: 2.6 GPA on a 4.0 scale

   

• US High School Graduates (in the US or abroad): 2.6 GPA on a 4.0 scale and an SAT or ACT score

   

 

 

Required documents:

 

 

• Completed Application Form (see attached)  

   

• Official academic transcripts translated into English for all secondary/high school and postsecondary (college and university) academic institutions attended (original and translation) Transcripts from secondary/high school must include the last 3 years of marks. (1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd year)

   

• Official high school graduation certificate (original and translation)

   

• Personal statement/essay

   

• Resume/Curriculum Vitae to list all activities within the past three years including dates. (If student has been working, please include work certificate and a letter of recommendation from employer at place of employment on letterhead.)

   

• Proof of financial eligibility by providing either a personal bank statement and/or a sponsor bank statement, dated within the past 6 months and Affidavit of Support (see attached)

   

• Original official copy of English proficiency test score ( minimum 4.5 IELTS or TOEFL or Kaplan iBT 45/ 133 CBT / 450 PBT)

   

• Copy of the ID page of your/student’s passport

   

• If you/student are currently in the US: provide a copy of visa page, I-94, and I-20
