[미국 커뮤니티 컬리지]cascadia community college - uw와의 편입학 서명

 안녕하세요. 비니대디입니다. 온나라가 떠들썩한 대통령 선거가 드디어 이틀뒤로 다가왔습니다.

오늘아침 라디오를 듣고 오는길에 인도에서 부재자 투표를 하신분의 인터뷰를 들었습니다.

인도에서 사업을 하시는 분인데 무려 2만킬로 정도의 길을 몇칠을 차에서 잠자리를 해결하며

투표를 했다고 하네요. 인도의 투표소가 영사가 있는 두곳에서만 설치되어 있어 투표를 하기

위해서는 그렇게 멀리 갈 수 밖에 없었다 하네요.

한명의 투표 가치를 4천5백만원 정도로 메겨진다고 합니다. 우리가 세상을 변화 시킬수 있는

가장 적극적인 방법이 투표입니다. 많은 분들이 투표를 했어면 좋겠습니다.

그리고 자신이 꿈꾸는 세상을 만들어 갔어면 좋겠습니다. 

오늘은 미국 커뮤니티 컬리지 중에서 Cascadia community college에 대한 간단한 소식입니다.

캐스캐디어 cc는 UW(university of washington) Bothell 캠퍼스와 캠퍼스를

공유하고 있습니다. 그래서 캐스캐디어 cc의 학생들이 UW로 선호하는 편입니다.

이번에 Cascadia Community College는 computer science 전공에서  Bachelor of Science in Computing and Software Systems or the Bachelor of Arts in Applied Computing programs at UW Bothell 로 편입하는부분을 인정하게 되었습니다. 캠퍼스 공유와 더불어 점점 편입할 수 있는

과를 늘려가고 있는데 학생들로서는 기회가 점점 넓어지고 있는 상황입니다.  아래는 학교에서 나온 소식 원문입니다. 참고로 하시고요. 즐거운 한주 보내시기 바랍니다.

 

Cascadia Community College last week announced an agreement with the University of Washington Bothell that will allow students who earn a two-year degree in computer science at Cascadia to transfer into the Bachelor of Science in Computing and Software Systems or the Bachelor of Arts in Applied Computing programs at UW Bothell.

“This is an excellent example of how Cascadia and UW Bothell are working together on behalf of students. We already share a campus, now we’ve created a pathway for Cascadia students to transfer to UW Bothell’s excellent baccalaureate programs in computing,” said Dr. Sunny Burns, Cascadia’s Vice President of Student Learning and Student Success, in a press release.
