  싱가폴 외국계 대학들은 크게 두가지 구조로 나뉘어 집니다. 첫번째는 디플로마(diploma), 하이어 디플로마(Higher diploma)가 싱가폴 현지의 교육과정으로 영국이나 호주의 파트너 대학의 위임을

받아 전적으로 학교에 의해 관리 되고 두번째는 디그리(Degree)과정으로 외국 본교로부터 모든 관리를 받는 교육과정입니다. 이 의미는 학생의 성적이나 출결 상황등이 싱가폴의 학교에서 관리

받을 뿐 아니라 영국 본교에서 또는 호주나 캐나다 본교에서 관리를 받는다는 의미입니다.

싱가폴에서 학비가 비교적 저렴하고 교육적 퀄러티가 좋은 TMC Academy(TMC 아카데미)는

영국 대학 LJMU와 Uni. of Greenwich  그리고 호주 대학 Monash 의 학위를 수여하는데

교육부로 부터 새로운 과정의 Higher diploma 과정을 승인 받았습니다. 축하할일은 이번에

TMC 아카데미(Tmc academy)는 에듀 트러스트 (Edu trust) 기간이 4년 연장이 허가되어

2016년까지 기간이 늘어 났습니다. 아래는 새로운 과정에 대한 공지 사항입니다.

 

 

New Higher Diploma Structure

 

A. Courses

We pleased to inform that the Council of Private Education has given approval to us to conduct the following new programmes under the respective schools:

 

School of Business & Law

• Higher Diploma in Business

• Higher Diploma in Business (Accounting Specialisation)

• Higher Diploma in Business (Marketing Specialisation)

• Higher Diploma in Business (Human Resource Management Specialisation)

• Higher Diploma in Business (Logistics Specialisation)

• Higher Diploma in Business (International Business Specialisation)

 

School of Information Technology, Digital Media and Mass Communication

• Higher Diploma in Information Technology (Web Development Specialisation)

• Higher Diploma in Information Technology (Networking Specialisation)

• Higher Diploma in Information Technology (Games Development Specialisation)

• Higher Diploma in Mass Communication

 

School of Psychology

• Higher Diploma in Psychology with Counselling

School of Tourism, Hospitality & Culinary Arts

• Higher Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management

 

B. Structure

 

The above courses will commence from the January 2013 intake. It will be offered as :

Higher Diploma

− Equivalent to the current Diploma + Higher Diploma

Higher Diploma with Advance Standing

− Equivalent to the current Higher Diploma

All the existing TMC Diplomas and Higher Diplomas will have their last intake in October 2012.

 

C. Duration

 

Higher Diploma Main Intake : 16 months

Mid-term Intake : 19 months

Higher Diploma with Advanced Standing Main Intake : 12 months

Mid-term Intake : 15 months (all except Psychology), 12 months (Psychology)

 

D. Entry Requirements

Please refer to Appendix 1 for the revised entry requirements.

 

E. Course Fees

Please refer to Appendix 2 for the revised entry course fee which will be implemented for all applications received on and after 1 November 2012.
